Ingredients
- 4 c. sugar
- 2 c. white Karo syrup
- 2 sticks butter (no substitutes)
- 1 can Eagle Brand condensed milk
Method
- In a large sauce pan, mix all ingredients.
- Cook on medium heat, stirring constantly to a soft ball or slightly higher; should be bubbling and turn slightly darker and clearer when done. Pour out on large cookie sheet; sprinkle nuts on top if desired. Let cool. Cut and wrap in wax paper.
