Ingredients
- 1 (8 oz.) bowl Cool Whip
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. gelatin
- 1 Tbsp. water
- 1 basket fresh strawberries, washed, drained, hulled and cut up in quarters
Method
- Clean strawberries and cut in quarters.
- Sprinkle with sugar. Set to one side until sugar is dissolved.
- Take potato masher and mash up strawberries.
- Soften gelatin in water in a cup; dissolve until clear.
- Stir into strawberries.
- Chill and when partially set, fold in Cool Whip.
- Spread on top and sides of angel food cake.
- Keep refrigerated until ready to serve.
