Ingredients

  • 1/2 pound sea scallops
  • balsamic reduction Rosemary
  • rosemary sprigs
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Method

  • Simmer 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar in small saucepan with a sprig of rosemary until it reduces by one half.
  • Or, purchase a rosemary balsamic reduction such as this one from Nonna Pia's in British Columbia.
  • Heat olive oil in skillet and add scallops
  • Cook both sides until browned approx 5 minutes
  • Serve with rosemary balsamic reduction drizzled over them. Garnish with rosemary.
