Ingredients

  • 1 can cherry pie filling
  • 2 small cans crushed pineapple, drained
  • 2 c. hot water
  • 2 small pkg. cherry Jell-O
  • 1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
  • 1 (8 oz.) sour cream
  • 1 c. broken pecans
  • milk

Method

  • Pour cherry Jell-O into hot water. Let stand 15 minutes.
  • Mix cherry filling, pineapple and Jell-O mix into a large bowl.
  • Add enough milk to make cream cheese soften.
  • Put sour cream in cream cheese. Mix very well.
  • Pour half the cherry mix in a large casserole.
  • Put in refrigerator to make firm.
  • Remove and spread cheese and sour cream mix onto cherry mix.
  • Sprinkle broken pecans, then pour cherry mix again.
  • Put casserole back into refrigerator to make firm.
  • Makes a very large salad.
