Ingredients

  • 6 c. water
  • 4 ripe tomatoes
  • 1 can tomato juice
  • 3 large onions, chopped
  • 3 large bell peppers
  • small cabbage, shredded
  • 1 c. peas (green)
  • 1 c. whole grain corn
  • 2 pkg. George Washington seasoning or 2 Tbsp. chicken seasoning
  • 1 c. butter beans
  • 3 stalks celery
  • 3 carrots, chopped
  • 1 tsp. celery seed
  • 1 c. string beans
  • 1 c. noodles or macaroni
  • 1 tsp. barley
  • 1 tsp. parsley (dried)
  • salt to taste

Method

  • Bring all vegetables to boil.
  • Cook until done on lower heat. Sprinkle salt to taste.
  • Add a little Accent, George Washington seasoning or McKay's chicken seasoning.
