Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 large green pepper, chopped
- 1 (1 lb.) can tomatoes
- 1/2 c. uncooked rice
- 1 to 2 tsp. chili powder
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
Method
- Heat oven to 350°.
- In large skillet, cook and stir ground beef until light brown; drain off fat.
- Add onion and green pepper; cook until onion is tender.
- Stir in tomatoes, rice, chili powder, salt and pepper; mix well.
- Pour into ungreased 2-quart casserole dish.
- Cover and bake 1 hour.
