Ingredients

  • 2 lbs smoked sausage
  • 2 (15 ounce) cans pineapple, chunks (reserve liquid)
  • 2 12 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 34 cup vinegar
  • 12 cup water plus pineapple juice
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 12 teaspoon ginger
  • 23 cup sugar
  • 3 green peppers, cut up
  • 1 cup maraschino cherry, drained

Method

  • Slice sausage, brown on paper towels.
  • Boil togather pineapple juice, cornstarch (mixed in vinegar), water, soy suace, ginger and sugar.
  • Cook unitl transparent.
  • Add suasage, pineapple, green pepper and cherries.
  • Cook 5 minutes over low heat.
  • Transfer to crock pot and serve w/ picks.
