Ingredients
- 2 lbs smoked sausage
- 2 (15 ounce) cans pineapple, chunks (reserve liquid)
- 2 12 tablespoons cornstarch
- 34 cup vinegar
- 12 cup water plus pineapple juice
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 12 teaspoon ginger
- 23 cup sugar
- 3 green peppers, cut up
- 1 cup maraschino cherry, drained
Method
- Slice sausage, brown on paper towels.
- Boil togather pineapple juice, cornstarch (mixed in vinegar), water, soy suace, ginger and sugar.
- Cook unitl transparent.
- Add suasage, pineapple, green pepper and cherries.
- Cook 5 minutes over low heat.
- Transfer to crock pot and serve w/ picks.
