Ingredients

  • 3/4 c. butter
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 2 1/2 c. flour
  • 2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 c. pineapple juice
  • 1 c. crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 c. sour cream

Method

  • Cream together butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla.
  • Add flour, baking powder, pineapple juice, crushed pineapple and sour cream.
  • Mix well and turn into a well greased and floured, fluted tube pan. Bake at 350° for 55 to 60 minutes.
  • Cool in pan 10 minutes.
  • Remove from pan, drizzle topping on top of cake.
