Ingredients
- 2 c. flour
- 1 c. salt
- 1/2 c. cornstarch
- 1 Tbsp. salad oil
- 1 Tbsp. alum (a must)
- food coloring (if desired)
- 2 c. water
Method
- Combine all ingredients, except food coloring, in a saucepan and cook, over low heat, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens into a dough mass.
- Remove from heat immediately and cool until you can handle, but still warm.
- Place on wax paper and knead like bread.
