Ingredients
- potatoes, peeled and cubed (4 c.)
- 2 large onions, sliced thin
- 2 c. water
- 1 (17 oz.) creamed corn
- 2 tsp. onion salt
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1/3 c. minced parsley or dry flaked parsley
- 1 c. milk
- 1 c. half and half (evaporated)
- 1/4 lb. bacon, diced
Method
- In 2-quart pan boil potatoes and onions in water until tender but not mushy.
- Do not drain.
- Add other ingredients, except bacon, and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Brown bacon and add little flour for thickening.
- Add to soup.
