Ingredients

  • 1 box Twinkie snack cakes (8 to 10 individual cakes)
  • 1 large box instant vanilla pudding (mix according to directions)
  • 1 large container Cool Whip
  • 1 large can crushed pineapple, drain almost all of juice
  • 1/2 to 1 c. chopped pecan pieces
  • 3 bananas, sliced

Method

  • In a 9 x 13-inch baking dish, slice Twinkies in half lengthwise and place filling side up in pan.
  • Slice enough cakes to completely cover bottom of dish.
  • Layer banana slices over cakes.
  • Spread pineapple over bananas.
  • Pour pudding over pineapple (make sure pudding is soft set).
  • Smooth Cool Whip over the pudding and sprinkle pecans over the top.
  • Refrigerate until ready to serve.
  • Then spoon out and swear you slaved for hours!!
