Ingredients
- 1 box Twinkie snack cakes (8 to 10 individual cakes)
- 1 large box instant vanilla pudding (mix according to directions)
- 1 large container Cool Whip
- 1 large can crushed pineapple, drain almost all of juice
- 1/2 to 1 c. chopped pecan pieces
- 3 bananas, sliced
Method
- In a 9 x 13-inch baking dish, slice Twinkies in half lengthwise and place filling side up in pan.
- Slice enough cakes to completely cover bottom of dish.
- Layer banana slices over cakes.
- Spread pineapple over bananas.
- Pour pudding over pineapple (make sure pudding is soft set).
- Smooth Cool Whip over the pudding and sprinkle pecans over the top.
- Refrigerate until ready to serve.
- Then spoon out and swear you slaved for hours!!
