Ingredients
- 5 (medium size) sweet potatoes
- 2 c. water
- 1 stick margarine
- 1 c. brown sugar
Method
- Clean, peel and chunk sweet potatoes.
- Place potatoes in a large heavy skillet (on stove top).
- Add 2 cups water, margarine and brown sugar.
- Bring to boil.
- Then turn back to simmer for 1 hour until syrup thickens and potatoes are tender.
- Do not cover while cooking.
