Ingredients
- 1 c. white cornmeal
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/4 c. oil
- 1 1/2 c. boiling water
Method
- Heat cooking oil in an iron skillet.
- Mix boiling water and 1/4 cup oil to dry ingredients.
- Dip hands in cold water.
- Form mixture into pones.
- Cook until golden brown on both sides.
