Ingredients

  • 1 can cream-style corn
  • 1 can whole kernel corn, drained
  • 3 Tbsp. butter, melted
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/4 c. Italian seasoned bread crumbs
  • 1/4 c. chopped green pepper
  • 3 Tbsp. butter, melted
  • 2 slices bread
  • 1 lb. Owens or Jimmy Dean pork sausage

Method

  • Cook and drain sausage.
  • Mix with corn, 3 tablespoons of butter, eggs, Italian seasoned bread crumbs and chopped green pepper in 8 x 2-inch casserole.
  • Tear two slices of bread into small pieces and mix with 3 tablespoons of melted butter.
  • Place on top of other ingredients.
  • Bake at 350° for 20 minutes.
