Ingredients

  • FOR THE MUFFINS:
  • 1/3 cups Melted Butter
  • 1/2 cups Sugar
  • 1 whole Egg
  • 1-1/2 cup All-purpose Flour
  • 1-1/2 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoons Ground Nutmeg
  • 1/2 cups Milk
  • FOR THE TOPPING:
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
  • 1/2 cups Sugar
  • 1/2 cups Melted Butter

Method

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray a muffin pan with nonstick cooking spray or use muffin papers.
  • In a bowl, sift together all dry ingredients. Add wet ingredients and stir until combined. Spoon batter into muffin tins. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until they just start to turn a bit golden at the edges.
  • For the topping, mix sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl. Place melted butter in another small bowl. Dip the warm muffins in melted butter, then in the cinnamon sugar.
