Ingredients
- FOR THE MUFFINS:
- 1/3 cups Melted Butter
- 1/2 cups Sugar
- 1 whole Egg
- 1-1/2 cup All-purpose Flour
- 1-1/2 teaspoon Baking Powder
- 1/4 teaspoons Ground Nutmeg
- 1/2 cups Milk
- FOR THE TOPPING:
- 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
- 1/2 cups Sugar
- 1/2 cups Melted Butter
Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray a muffin pan with nonstick cooking spray or use muffin papers.
- In a bowl, sift together all dry ingredients. Add wet ingredients and stir until combined. Spoon batter into muffin tins. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until they just start to turn a bit golden at the edges.
- For the topping, mix sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl. Place melted butter in another small bowl. Dip the warm muffins in melted butter, then in the cinnamon sugar.
