Ingredients
- 4 Tbsp. sugar
- 4 Tbsp. shortening
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 c. hot water
- 1/4 c. lukewarm water
- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 4 c. sifted flour
Method
- In large mixing bowl, measure sugar, shortening, salt and hot water.
- Measure lukewarm water and add to it dry yeast.
- Stir until dissolved.
- When the sugar and shortening mixture is lukewarm, add yeast mixture.
- Then add flour gradually.
- Mix well.
