Ingredients
- 1 chicken or 1 pkg. chicken breasts
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 2 cans chicken broth
- 1 1/2 c. buttermilk
- 1 1/2 c. self-rising flour
- 1 stick butter or margarine, melted
- salt and pepper to taste
Method
- Cook chicken and remove from bone.
- Cut into pieces and place in 11 x 13-inch baking dish.
- Mix soup and broth.
- Heat to mix well.
- Pour over chicken.
- Mix flour, buttermilk and butter.
- Pour batter over chicken and soup.
- Bake at 425° for 30 to 35 minutes. Serves 8 to 10.
