Ingredients

  • 1 large angel food cake
  • 1 large can crushed pineapple
  • 2 envelopes plain gelatin
  • 3 pkg. Dream Whip
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 can coconut

Method

  • Remove all brown from cake.
  • Pinch cake into tiny pieces.
  • Set aside.
  • Dissolve gelatin in 4 tablespoons of cold water.
  • Add 1 cup boiling water, pineapple juice and pineapple, sugar, salt and lemon juice.
  • Refrigerate until mixture is partly congealed.
  • Whip 2 packages of Dream Whip according to directions.
  • Fold in gelatin mixture.
