Ingredients

  • 12 slices bread
  • 2 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 c. mayonnaise
  • 7 hard-cooked eggs, finely chopped
  • 1 lb. fresh crabmeat
  • 1/4 c. chopped onion
  • 1 Tbsp. plus 1 tsp. minced fresh parsley
  • 2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen broccoli
  • 1 c. (4 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese

Method

  • Remove crust from bread; cut bread into 1/2-inch cubes. Combine
  • bread
  • cubes,
  • milk and mayonnaise; stir well.
  • Cover and refrigerate 30 minutes.
  • Remove mixture from refrigerator; stir in eggs,
  • crabmeat,
  • onion
  • and parsley.
  • Cook broccoli according to package directions; drain well. Arrange broccoli in a
  • lightly greased
  • 13
  • 9 x 2-inch baking dish.
  • Spoon crabmeat
  • mixture evenly
  • over broccoli.
  • Bake, uncovered, at 325°
  • for
  • 40 minutes.
  • Sprinkle with cheese and bake an additional 5 minutes or until cheese melts.
