Ingredients
- 3 c. sugar
- 1 c. cornstarch
- 1/2 c. cocoa
- 3 c. Carnation milk
- 3 c. water
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 2 Tbsp. vanilla
- pinch of salt
- 1 1/2 sticks margarine
- 2 deep dish or 3 regular pie crusts
Method
- Mix sugar, cornstarch and cocoa together real well.
- Add milk and water.
- Stir together good.
- Add eggs and salt.
- Cook on medium heat, stirring constantly until mixture thickens.
- Remove from heat and with electric mixer, beat real good, adding margarine and vanilla as you beat.
- Pour into baked pie shells.
