Ingredients
- 3 (1 lb.) cans Great Northern beans
- 1 small onion
- 1 stalk celery
- 1 small carrot
- 1/4 c. mango
- 1 c. water
- 3 sausage patties
Method
- Fry sausage patties and crumble it up in 4-quart kettle.
- Add 3 cans of beans to sausage.
- Cut carrots, onion, celery and mango in small pieces.
- Add to beans and sausage.
- Add one can of water. Cook on medium heat for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
- Salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve with cornbread.
