Ingredients

  • 1 can applesauce (sweetened)
  • 1 can pineapple (crushed)
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 c. butter or margarine, melted
  • 1 1/2 c. nuts, chopped

Method

  • Grease a 9 x 13-inch pan.
  • Dump applesauce into pan and spread evenly.
  • Then dump pineapple on top of applesauce and then spread evenly again.
  • Spread the cake mix on top of mixture.
  • Pour the melted butter on top of the cake mix.
  • Now sprinkle the chopped nuts on top of butter.
  • (Note: Do not stir.)
