Ingredients
- 1 large round sponge cake
- 2 cans cherry pie filling (the one that says "more cherries" on the label if possible)
- 1 large pkg. Cool Whip
- Amaretto (optional)
Method
- Cut up or break sponge cake into inch square pieces.
- Set aside 1 cup Cool Whip to frost top.
- Mix the remainder with enough Amaretto to taste, but not enough to thin the Cool Whip too much. Mix the cake with Cool Whip to coat the cake pieces.
