Ingredients
- 1 c. butter or margarine
- 1 3/4 c. powdered sugar
- 3 eggs
- 4 Tbsp. canned milk
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 4 c. flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Method
- Cream the butter and sugar well.
- Add eggs, one at a time. Mix dry ingredients or sift together.
- Add 3 cups of the flour alternately with the canned milk. Add vanilla. The other 1 cup of flour should be used on rolling surface.
- Bake about 8 to 10 minutes in a 350° oven.
- (If this browns cookies too rapidly, reduce to 325°.)
- Cool and frost.
