Ingredients
- 30 each phyllo (filo) pastry sheets mini, 1-1/2 diameter
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup light cream (half&half)
- 3/4 cup cheddar cheese shredded
- 2 tablespoons bacon bits real
- 1 teaspoon onion flakes dried
- 1 x chives fresh, for garnish
Method
- Place fillo shells on baking sheet.
- In a mixing bowl beat together eggs, half and half, cheese, bacon bits, and onion.
- Spoon 2 teaspoon of filling into each fillo shell.
- Bake at 375F (190C) until quiches puff and turn slightly brown or about 15 to 20 min.
- Garnish with fresh chives, if desired.
