Ingredients

  • 30 each phyllo (filo) pastry sheets mini, 1-1/2 diameter
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup light cream (half&half)
  • 3/4 cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • 2 tablespoons bacon bits real
  • 1 teaspoon onion flakes dried
  • 1 x chives fresh, for garnish

Method

  • Place fillo shells on baking sheet.
  • In a mixing bowl beat together eggs, half and half, cheese, bacon bits, and onion.
  • Spoon 2 teaspoon of filling into each fillo shell.
  • Bake at 375F (190C) until quiches puff and turn slightly brown or about 15 to 20 min.
  • Garnish with fresh chives, if desired.
