Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp. chopped onion
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 2 c. milk
- 4 oz. grated American cheese
- 2 chicken bouillon cubes
- 1 1/2 c. water
- 1 (10 oz.) pkg. chopped broccoli or chopped fresh broccoli
Method
- Cook onion in butter until soft.
- Blend in flour, salt and pepper.
- Add milk and cook, stirring constantly until mixture boils and thickens.
- Add cheese and stir until melted.
- In another pan, bring water, bouillon cubes and broccoli to boil until tender.
- Pour entire mixture into cheese sauce and serve.
