Ingredients
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. oleo
- 1 1/4 c. water, divided
- 1 pkg. yeast
- 1 beaten egg
- 1 tsp. salt
- 3 c. flour
Method
- Melt sugar, oleo and 1/2 cup water; cool until lukewarm.
- Add the yeast dissolved in 1/4 cup or less lukewarm water, the beaten egg, 1/2 cup water, 1 teaspoon salt and 3 cups flour.
- Mix together until smooth.
- Refrigerate.
- Remove from refrigerator about 1 hour before baking time.
- Shape into rolls and let rise 1 hour.
- Bake at 425° about 12 to 15 minutes.
