Ingredients

  • 6 thin slices veal (cut from 1 veal round steak)
  • 6 Tbsp. flour
  • 4 Tbsp. butter
  • 3 medium onions, sliced thin
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 bouillon cubes
  • 1 c. boiling water
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard
  • 3 tsp. paprika
  • 3 Tbsp. minced parsley
  • 4 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 c. sour cream

Method

  • Dust veal with flour.
  • Melt butter in pan.
  • Add onions and garlic and cook until yellow.
  • Add bouillon cubes and dissolve. Add mustard and paprika.
  • Stir and pour into a bowl.
  • Melt the other 4 tablespoons butter in frypan.
  • Fry meat on both sides. Pour onion mixture over it and cook 30 minutes over low heat. Stir in cream and bring to a boil.
  • Serve immediately over buttered parsley noodles.
