Ingredients

  • FOR THE BLONDIES:
  • 1/3 cups Sugar
  • 1 cup White Chocolate Chips
  • 1/2 cups Butter
  • 1-1/4 cup All-purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 whole Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 cup Pitted And Chopped Fresh Cherries
  • FOR THE DRIZZLE:
  • 1/2 cups White Chocolate Chips
  • 1 teaspoon Vegetable Oil

Method

  • Place the sugar, chocolate chips and butter into a saucepan and heat over very low heat (or use a double boiler) until the sugar and chocolate have melted. Throw the flour and salt into the melted mixture. Blend well. Remove from the heat.
  • Blend the eggs and vanilla extract together. Pour the egg mixture into the flour mixture and blend well.
  • Pour the mixture into a 9x13-inch baking pan, lined with parchment paper (for easy removal) and top with the chopped cherry pieces.
  • Bake in a 350F oven for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the pan comes out clean.
  • In the microwave, melt half a cup of white chocolate chips with a teaspoon of vegetable oil (melt on 30 second increments, stirring in between and continuing for additional 30 second increments, just until melted) and drizzle over the dessert.
  • Allow to cool in pan for about 10 minutes before cutting into bars.
