- 1 yellow cake mix
- 1 egg
- 1/3 c. butter or margarine
- 3 c. miniature marshmallows
- 2/3 c. white corn syrup
- 1/2 c. butter or margarine
- 12 oz. peanut butter chips
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 c. Rice Krispies
- 2 c. salted peanuts
Method
- Combine cake mix, egg and 1/3 cup butter or margarine.
- Press into a 9 x 13-inch pan.
- Bake at 350° for 12 to 18 minutes. Spread marshmallows over crust while still hot.
- In double boiler, place corn syrup, peanut butter chips, 1/4 cup butter or margarine.
- Cook until smooth.
- Add Rice Krispies and peanuts. Immediately spread over marshmallows using back of spoon.
- Cool; cut into squares.
