Ingredients

  • 1 yellow cake mix
  • 1 egg
  • 1/3 c. butter or margarine
  • 3 c. miniature marshmallows
  • 2/3 c. white corn syrup
  • 1/2 c. butter or margarine
  • 12 oz. peanut butter chips
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 c. Rice Krispies
  • 2 c. salted peanuts

Method

  • Combine cake mix, egg and 1/3 cup butter or margarine.
  • Press into a 9 x 13-inch pan.
  • Bake at 350° for 12 to 18 minutes. Spread marshmallows over crust while still hot.
  • In double boiler, place corn syrup, peanut butter chips, 1/4 cup butter or margarine.
  • Cook until smooth.
  • Add Rice Krispies and peanuts. Immediately spread over marshmallows using back of spoon.
  • Cool; cut into squares.
