Ingredients
- 1/2 c. oleo, softened
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 tsp. water
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 c. enriched flour
- 1/2 c. walnuts, chopped
- confectioners sugar
Method
- Cream butter, shortening and sugar.
- Mix in water and vanilla, then flour and nuts.
- Chill for 3 to 4 hours.
- Roll out in long rolls 1/2 inch across.
- Cut in 3 inch lengths and shape in crescents.
- Bake on ungreased cookie sheet for 15 minutes in 325° oven.
- Do not brown.
- Take out and roll in confectioners sugar while warm.
