Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1 12 cups tomato sauce
  • 34 cup chicken broth
  • 12 pint cream
  • 1 shallot
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 12 cups mushrooms
  • olive oil
  • salt
  • pepper
  • cayenne pepper
  • pasta, of choice
  • basil (optional)
  • shredded chicken (optional)

Method

  • Boil water for pasta.
  • Finely mince the shallot and garlic cloves and add to hot saucepan with olive oil and saute.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Add mushrooms and saute.
  • Then pour in chicken broth and reduce.
  • Add pasta to boiling water and season with salt.
  • Boil until al dente.
  • After mushrooms are fully cooked, add in cream, tomato sauce and paste, and combine.
  • Simmer for about 5 minutes season with cayenne pepper, and add chicken and basil if your using it.
  • Drain pasta and mix into sauce, serve.
