Ingredients
- 1 1/2 to 2 lb. round steak (1 1/2-inches thick)
- 1/3 c. soy sauce
- 1/4 c. brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1 Tbsp. grated ginger root or 1 tsp. ground ginger
- 1/4 tsp. ground pepper
- 2 cloves garlic, pressed
Method
- Prepare marinade by mixing all ingredients except steak.
- Trim meat, slice thinly and marinate 4 to 6 hours.
- Thread on skewers. Barbecue 12 to 15 minutes, turning frequently.
- Do not overcook.
