Ingredients

  • 1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple (own juice)
  • 2 c. mini marshmallows
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 egg, well beaten
  • 1 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 1 c. Spanish peanuts
  • 12 oz. Cool Whip
  • 2 c. apples (unpeeled), diced

Method

  • Drain pineapple, saving the juice.
  • Mix the pineapple and marshmallows and put in covered container.
  • Refrigerate overnight. In a small saucepan, mix pineapple juice, sugar, flour, vinegar and the egg.
  • Heat over medium heat until mixture becomes thick. Put this in another container, cover and refrigerate overnight.
