Ingredients

  • 6 chicken breasts, skinless and boned
  • 1 1/2 c. shredded Swiss cheese (6 oz.)
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 c. sherry or wine
  • 3 c. herbed stuffing mix
  • 1 Tbsp. butter or margarine

Method

  • Place breasts in a 9 x 13-inch baking dish. Sprinkle with shredded cheese. Combine soup and sherry and pour evenly over cheese.
  • Spoon stuffing mix evenly over all.
  • Dot with butter. Bake, covered, at 350° for 1 hour or until chicken is tender. Serves 6.
