- 2 lb. frozen hash browns
- 2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
- 2 c. sour cream
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 2/3 c. chopped onion
- 2/3 c. margarine
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 2 c. crushed corn flakes
Method
- Mix all together except for 1/3 cup margarine and corn flakes. Pour into 3-quart baking dish.
- Top with remaining margarine and corn flakes mixed together.
- Bake 40 to 45 minutes.
- Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
- (I sometimes add a can of mixed vegetables and some ham or Polish sausage chunks to make it a 1 dish meal.)
