Ingredients

  • 2 c. cheerios
  • 2 c. corn chex
  • 2 c. wheat chex
  • 2 c. peanuts
  • 1 bag oyster crackers
  • 1 c. pretzels, broken
  • pecans, if desired
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. maple flavoring
  • 1 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1 1/4 stick melted margarine

Method

  • Mix cinnamon, maple flavoring, brown sugar and margarine in bowl.
  • Set aside.
  • In large bowl, mix cereals, oysters crackers, peanuts, pretzels, and pecans.
  • Pour brown sugar mixture
  • over dry ingredients and toss well.
  • Put a thin layer on cookie sheet and bake
  • at 250° for one hour, or until dry.
  • Stir occasionally during baking.
  • Cool.
  • Store in air tight containers.
