Ingredients
- 7 lb. peaches
- 3 1/2 lb. sugar
- 1 qt. vinegar
- stick cinnamon
- mace
- cloves
- spices
Method
- Select firm clingstone peaches.
- Remove the skin; tie spices in muslin bag and boil syrup of sugar and vinegar several minutes. Drop in a few peaches at a time and when tender, put in hot sterilized jars and pour syrup over them.
