Ingredients

  • 1 can green asparagus tips
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/4 lb. grated Cheddar cheese
  • 1 c. cracker crumbs
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 hard-boiled eggs

Method

  • Arrange asparagus on bottom of buttered casserole dish, then egg slices and cracker crumbs.
  • Repeat layers.
  • Combine soup and seasonings and pour over asparagus mixture.
  • Dot with butter and bake at 300° for about 25 minutes.
  • Top with grated cheese and run into oven for 5 to 10 minutes.
