Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 c. chopped celery
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1/4 c. chopped green pepper
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
  • 1/4 c. catsup
  • 2 tsp. Worcestershire
  • 2 tsp. brown sugar
  • 1 pkg. refrigerator biscuits

Method

  • Fry together hamburger, celery, onion, green pepper and season with salt and pepper.
  • Drain off fat.
  • Stir in tomato sauce, catsup, Worcestershire sauce and brown sugar.
  • Place this mixture in a casserole and arrange the biscuits on top.
  • Bake 20 to 25 minutes at 400°.
  • Serves 8.
