- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 c. chopped celery
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1/4 c. chopped green pepper
- salt and pepper to taste
- 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
- 1/4 c. catsup
- 2 tsp. Worcestershire
- 2 tsp. brown sugar
- 1 pkg. refrigerator biscuits
Method
- Fry together hamburger, celery, onion, green pepper and season with salt and pepper.
- Drain off fat.
- Stir in tomato sauce, catsup, Worcestershire sauce and brown sugar.
- Place this mixture in a casserole and arrange the biscuits on top.
- Bake 20 to 25 minutes at 400°.
- Serves 8.
