Ingredients

  • 1 (6 oz.) pkg. strawberry Jell-O
  • 2 pkg. frozen strawberries (1 is fine)
  • 1 c. pecans, chopped
  • 1 small can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • 1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream (1/2 pt.)

Method

  • Dissolve Jell-O in 2 cups water brought to a boil; add strawberries and blend until berries are thawed.
  • Add drained pineapple and pecans.
  • Pour half of mixture into flat dish and chill.
  • Whip-blend sour cream and cream cheese.
  • Spoon over the chilled Jell-O mixture.
  • Spoon remaining Jell-O over the cream layer.
  • Garnish with Cool Whip.
