- 2 c. pretzels, coarsely crushed
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- 3/4 c. margarine, melted
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 (8 oz.) carton frozen whipped topping, thawed
- 1 (6 oz.) pkg. strawberry gelatin
- 1 c. boiling water
- 2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen sliced strawberries, thawed
Method
- Mix together pretzels, margarine and 3 tablespoons sugar. Press into a 9 x 13-inch pan.
- Bake at 400° for 8 minutes.
- Cool. Beat cream cheese and 1 cup sugar until well blended.
- Stir in whipped topping and spread on crust.
- Dissolve gelatin in boiling water; stir in strawberries.
- Let stand for 10 minutes.
- Pour on top of cheese mixture and chill.
- Yield:
- 12 servings.
