- 3 lb. chicken wings
- 1 (2 lb.) can tomatoes (undrained)
- 2 c. chicken stock or water
- 2 onions, chopped
- 1 green pepper, seeded and chopped
- salt to taste
- 2 carrots, chopped
- 1 stalk celery, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, split
- 1 small bay leaf
- 1 red pepper pod
- 2 tsp. chili powder
Method
- Cover the chicken wings with tomatoes and chicken stock or water.
- Bring to a boil for about 15 minutes.
- Add remaining ingredients.
- Cover and simmer until wings are tender.
- Serve with boiled rice.
- Serves 4 to 6.
