Ingredients

  • 3 lb. chicken wings
  • 1 (2 lb.) can tomatoes (undrained)
  • 2 c. chicken stock or water
  • 2 onions, chopped
  • 1 green pepper, seeded and chopped
  • salt to taste
  • 2 carrots, chopped
  • 1 stalk celery, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, split
  • 1 small bay leaf
  • 1 red pepper pod
  • 2 tsp. chili powder

Method

  • Cover the chicken wings with tomatoes and chicken stock or water.
  • Bring to a boil for about 15 minutes.
  • Add remaining ingredients.
  • Cover and simmer until wings are tender.
  • Serve with boiled rice.
  • Serves 4 to 6.
