Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 large can diced tomatoes
  • 1 large green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 large red onion, chopped
  • 2 tsp garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning blend
  • 1 tsp basil
  • red pepper to taste
  • nonstick cooking spray/Pam

Method

  • Spray a large skillet with cooking spray and heat over high heat.
  • Add ground turkey and cook, stirring occasionally, for about 5 minutes.
  • Make sure to drain fat.
  • Stir in tomatoes, pepper, onion, garlic & spices. Bring to a boil.
  • Reduce heat and simmer covered about 15 minutes. Remove cover and simmer another 15 minutes.
  • Cook pasta according to package directions, and serve turkey meat sauce over it.
