Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp. shortening
- 1 medium onion
- 1 green pepper
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 large and 1 small can tomatoes
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 1 tsp. prepared mustard
- 1 c. uncooked rice
Method
- Melt shortening; saute meat (either pork chops or hamburg) until brown.
- Remove meat.
- Saute onions and peppers; add remaining ingredients and arrange meat on top.
- When steaming freely, cover and cook on low 30 to 40 minutes or until rice is tender.
