Ingredients
- 1 qt. sauerkraut
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 c. chopped celery
- 1 c. chopped green pepper
- 1 medium onion, sliced thin
- 1/2 c. salad oil
- 1/2 c. white vinegar
Method
- Drain sauerkraut and wash in cold water.
- Squeeze out all excess water.
- Add sugar and set aside until sugar dissolves.
- Add all other ingredients.
- Mix thoroughly.
- Flavor improves if kept in refrigerator overnight.
