Ingredients

  • 1 envelope Lipton onion mix
  • 1/4 c. olive or vegetable oil
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 1 Tbsp. lime juice (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder with parsley
  • 1 lb. boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips
  • 2 c. frozen assorted vegetables, thawed and drained
  • hot cooked rice

Method

  • In large skillet, blend onion soup mix, oil, water, lime juice and garlic powder; let stand 5 minutes.
  • Bring soup mixture to a boil.
  • Stir in chicken and vegetables.
  • Cook uncovered 5 minutes, stirring frequently until chicken is done.
  • Serve over rice. Makes about 4 servings.
