Ingredients
- 1 envelope Lipton onion mix
- 1/4 c. olive or vegetable oil
- 1/4 c. water
- 1 Tbsp. lime juice (optional)
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder with parsley
- 1 lb. boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips
- 2 c. frozen assorted vegetables, thawed and drained
- hot cooked rice
Method
- In large skillet, blend onion soup mix, oil, water, lime juice and garlic powder; let stand 5 minutes.
- Bring soup mixture to a boil.
- Stir in chicken and vegetables.
- Cook uncovered 5 minutes, stirring frequently until chicken is done.
- Serve over rice. Makes about 4 servings.
