Ingredients
- 4 egg yolks
- 1/4 c. flour
- 8 egg whites
- 3/4 c. vanilla flavored sugar
- 3 Tbsp. sweet butter
- 1 finger depth of milk in souffle baking dish
Method
- Beat egg yolks until light and creamy; beat in flour.
- Set aside.
- Beat egg whites until very stiff.
- Add vanilla flavored sugar, a little at a time.
- The success of the Nockerln depends on the stiffness of the egg whites.
- Be sure not to underbeat.
