Ingredients
- 2 rabbits, cleaned and cut up
- 1/4 tsp. thyme
- salt
- pepper
- 2 bay leaves
- flour
- cooking oil
Method
- Salt and pepper rabbit; cover with flour.
- Put in heavy skillet in the cooking oil.
- Sear on both sides.
- Place in stew pot.
- Cover with hot water.
- Add thyme and bay leaves.
- Cook until tender.
- Now add dumplings to stew pot.
- Cook until done.
