Ingredients
- 2 c. strained persimmon pulp
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 Tbsp. vanilla
- 1 stick melted margarine
- 2 c. buttermilk
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 1/2 c. self-rising flour
Method
- Mix pulp, sugar, eggs and flavoring.
- Then mix flour and baking powder (sift).
- Add this to pulp mixture.
- Add melted margarine and buttermilk.
- Pour into shallow, greased pan and bake in 375° oven.
